US + THEM (RODS) Vintage Cuisenaire rods, installation size variable.

Like many of us I was entranced by “rods” at primary school, officially called Cuisenaire rods. I just liked to stack them simply or make simple doorways with them, even simple buildings. We all did. I instinctively knew they were the building blocks of architecture somehow even though I was only very young.

I first made an US + THEM like a simple bar graph in 1988. I have made a few since then but not in rods.
